When I start supplementing magnesium, I experience effects within a few days. This seems very fast as I would expect based on what I have read that it takes long to solve a deficiency. I experience better stress regulation, and after another few days there is even better regulation, and I am more calm. Is this placebo or could this be due to the mag?

When I started taken a mag supplement for my bowels. It did make me more calm and I had awesome sleeps for a month or so. After a month of taking it, magnesium started to do the opposite effects and now I can't take it before bed because I am wired! Maybe I was over doing the supplement? I no longer supplement magnesium now (solved my bowel problems; over doing the greens) Now once in a while I will has a glass of CALM (the magnesium supplement) before bed and Im wide awake again.
