Magnesium gluconate

Recently saw an article on absorption of different forms of magnesium (http://suppversity.blogspot.ru/2013/02/magnesium-vs-diabetes-which-form-is.html)

It appears that gluconate is superior, but it doesn't seem to be popular or even available. What do you think? Doesn't really matter?

If you want magnesium gluconate you can find it on amazon.com:

http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Magnesium-Gluconate-Tablets-Count/dp/B005F3CFUK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1362315795&sr=8-1&keywords=magnesium+gluconate+250mg

However I think if you stick with any magnesium ___ate (citrate, glycinate, malate ..) you'll be fine wrt absorption. The key factor then becomes which one doesn't cause runny stools. I'm having good luck with magnesium glycinate, which is widely available.
