Anybody going to subscribe to the Paleo magazine?

I just found this link on Facebook.
http://www.paleomagonline.com/ Unfortunately I live in the UK so it's a bit pricey for me to get this without a recommendation. Anyone here going to try it and let us know if it is any good?

We agree the price is a bit steep for those outside the US. Unfortunately shipping is extremely expensive! We do appreciate your help in spreading the word!

@Semirade - We're working with two national US distributors right now to try and get into retails stores. We're hopeful we can make it happen by our July or September issue!

I tend to agree with you, especially on a fixed income - hope it comes to the news stands so that a "pricey" copy that contains info I really need/want is available. I doubt that it'll make it to the stores though!

No. I do enjoy the contributers' blogs and contributions to paleohacks. But there's just so much free information out there, and so many bills to pay!

However, this would be a great magazine to have laying around in a doctor's office lobby. A good paleo guerilla technique would be to seed these at endocrinologists offices and see what happens.

I've subscribed. Figured it was worth $30 to try it out AND support a venture by a fellow Paleo. The first edition isn't out yet, so I can't really recommend it. Should know more by the end of the month.

A print mag in this day and age? Short answer: No. Any info you need is out there free.

I had not really considered subscribing but can say I enjoy the contributors' blogs and insight. To have it collectively in one place has some appeal. If a positive recommendation is what would get you to subscribe (i.e. it is worth it to you if the mag is good), I would say give it a shot. These folks will certainly offer good information.

Hmm... I didn't even know about this until you posted this. I think I might; I mean, 30 bucks for a year's worth of content sounds like a decent deal (though you're right, if I were outside North America, I would definitely think twice at ten dollars per issue). I paid 15 bucks to get the recording and transcript of the Free the Animal/Duranrider debate, and that was less than two hours of content.
