Hi all, I'm a first year at my university this year and have been mostly paleo for about a year. My mile time increased, I felt stronger, more awake. I slept better. I love everything about paleo. Unfortunately my... (more)
All right, I've been following a Primal lifestyle (tending towards Paleo, too) for just over 3 years now and, pretty much every day, I'll eat a huge salad for lunch. Usually, it'll have some sort of greens (mix of romaine, spring mix, and... (more)
What is the best simple low carb recipe you've ever had? It could be a dessert, snack, breakfast, lunch, dinner meal or you may even have an answer for each category. I want to know what was the most memorable recipe that almost had you into... (more)
I'm going out to lunch after school and I want to know what is the best paleo option from red lobster? I am a 15 year old girl, which I am usually really active but I am on my two week break from track. Though I still swim I'm not burning the same... (more)
I have realised one of the keys to success on Paleo is meal planning and that includes preparing a lunch for when you are out for the day. However there comes a time when you are out and you haven't prepared anything for lunch and the supermarket... (more)
My office is encouraging workers every week to come up with a lunch to cook for everyone. I am looking for that awesome paleo lunch idea that will leave people asking for more (and asking how to go paleo). There are about 23 people who work there... (more)
Okay so I read up a bit on Chipotle, here in particular, and got excited to go grab some chipotle near my job. I got there, and did what people said they did in their case. Order two meats. So I got carnitas and chicken. skipped the rice and... (more)
I am thinking of cooking one big meal each morning and eating it throughout the day when I get hungry. The only thing is, I often don't have access to a microwave. What are some meals that taste great cold? If it makes a difference: I eat 600... (more)
Has eating in the evening been linked to low quality sleep? Should I eat a large breakfast or lunch and skip dinner? If I take all my calories before noon, will that lead to better sleep at night? Are there other reasons large dinners might not... (more)
Actually, I eat carbs and protein only at dinner and I sleep great. Only breakfast I have is fat.
The lunch that I usually make for school most days (not all) is half a can of bumblebee's wild alaskan salmon, plus chopped pickles, celery, onions, and homemade mayo if I have any on hand. Otherwise I use pickle juice. I mostly make this because... (more)
Anybody here ever try some of the baby food options? I was going down the isle and noticed some of the fruit ones are just the fruit no water or other additives. Thinking of things to add to my lunches as a treat from time to time. What do you... (more)
I'm sure the answer will be "it depends, or it's individual", but: Should I aim to have a sufficiently fatty protein breakfast (like 1/2 baby back ribs with butter) so I could maybe skip snacking & lunch? From an hours without insulin... (more)
So over the lest couple weeks of doing this whole Paleo thing, I've made an observation.. When I eat a decent breakfast (like 2 of these egg muffins), and have a salad for lunch I still feel ravenous throughout the day. However, eating 2 muffins... (more)
Good Morning, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for lunch meats or cold cuts. Are any of them paleo? I know that most of the packaged ones have way too many additives. I read a label the other day that had HFCS. Really? Why does... (more)
Hi, I'm new to paleo and was wondering if I could get a suggestion on which lunch meal would be the best? I'm terrible at packing lunches but there is a fantastic salad restaurant near my work I can walk to. Their site is:... (more)
I'm very new to paleo and need some suggestions for lunches that taste good cold. I work two days a week, and on those days I don't have access to a microwave, oven or other heat source to reheat meals. What would you suggest for lunches that are... (more)
Ok so there are a few old favourites that being a yorkshireman I still crave as these foods have been inbuilt into our culture, one is Fish 'n' Chips though it is relatively easy to get round by using Celeriac or Sweet Potato and making batter... (more)

I choose to pack my kids lunch at their day school however they will not heat anything up. My son won't eat meat and chicken cold and prefers most vegetables hot. Any suggestions?
I've already found a lunchbox system that works very well for packing lunches for my daughter (who doesn't have "warming" capability at her school, so the lunches are cold by default). However, I want to get more consistent about making sure that... (more)
Last time I went to the beach, we stopped by the grocery store to grab lunch and I ended up with breaded fried chicken. I'm planning a trip for this weekend and I don't want to repeat that lunch. I'm planning to bring some fruit and veggies, but... (more)
Sliced roast beef from last nights dinner.
I am at work and did not bring a lunch with me today. There is a grocery store around the corner from the office. What can I get for lunch that does not require any cooking and stay Paleo? BTW, this is a newbie.
Nothing in particular against microwaves. Their effect on nutrients seems negligible, and the non-ionizing radiation is most likely not an issue. But I don't feel right being all paleo-like then heating up my lunch five days a week in a space age... (more)
My typical lunch for work is half a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket close to my office - not ideal but better than a sandwich! I'm pretty sure I'd be much better off with some ground beef or lamb, which from what I can gather, here in the... (more)
My brunch for the next 4 days: Brown 1 lb ground beef together with spices of choice (I like cumin/chili/garlic powder). Throw in half a can of tomato sauce. When it's warm, I pull it off and slap on a pound of cottage cheese(cc). Salt depending... (more)
