Getting protein/fat ratios correct

How does someone determine if they are eating the correct proportions of protein and fat in a meal in order to be fat fueled?  If you just cut out junk carbs and only eat low carb vegetables and fatty meat is this good enough?  How can someone tell the fat/protein ratio of a piece of meat?

Being fat-fueled and losing body fat are not the same thing. Jimmy Moore is fat-fueled, but he is stuck at morbidly obese after over a decade of dieting. To avoid losing too much lean mass, you should keep protein at least 1 gram per pound of lean mass. Then eat fat and/or carbs for the rest. As long as you have a calorie deficit and enough protein, macros are not that important.
