My current favorite joke is from The Guardian recently: "Two snowmen are out in the yard. One says to the other "Carrots? That's funny I smell them too." So silly. It feels so good to laugh. My grandmother used to say that eating pork fat gave one a good disposition. I think she was right.

Sometimes I laugh so hard that I fall on the floor. For a while afterwards the funny thing will keep haunting me and I will laugh at very inappropriate/absurd times. Occasionally things will come out of my face (nose and/or mouth). I am glad that my husband finds this to be an attractive feature.

Chilling the fuck out, sleeping as much as I need to, and generally not feeling the need to keep up with people who talk about how incredibly busy they are 24/7 and only sleep 4 hours every night and so on. Removing myself from that and realising that taking time out to just enjoy life and relax wasn't being lazy, that was totally liberating, no lie.

I love running into someone that I haven seen in a while, and having them ask how i made this transformation. Then as I tell them the story and what I am doing, I love seeing lightbulbs going off, over and over, as they realize all of this just makes sense.

Happens about once a week for me.

Sea air.

I feel so cliched saying it, like I'm filling out a personals ad or someting. I don't care what the weather is, if I can smell the ocean, I am "spontaneous cartwheels" style blissed out. Luckily, I live only a mile inland so I can indulge often.

I love how all the paleo approved foods are absolutely delicious.

  • Eggs!

  • Meat with lots of fat!

  • Nuts!

  • Avocado!

  • Full fat yoghurt or cheese!

  • Kale!

  • Berries!

Everytime I sit down to eat I think: "Amazing. All of this stuff is incredible."

Before paleo, I ate food I didn't really like. Like a lot of cereal in the morning.

Not any more.

Eating makes me really happy :-)

Having a finger run across my low v abdominal muscle and being told how yummy it is. A good deep belly laugh that usually ends in uncontrollable snorts. Sexy times.. oh so delicious sexy times :) Laying on the beach in the sun all sprawled out with just waves and birds to listen to. Watching friends faces light up when they taste my food. Hauling ass on my bike and making every single light on a long stretch - this usually has with me shrieking "wooo" and giggling as I blast through each one, and when I'm finally stopped with my grin going ear to ear anyone who sees me gets a big fat smile as well. Spreading happiness doubles it for me :)

The sound of the turbo on my MR2 blowing off right behind my head as I speed through a set of twisties.

Cooking.

Riding my road bike. Fixing my MT bike and then breaking it again.

Fitting into cloths I haven't been able to wear in YEARS.

Running into people I haven't seen in 6 months and having them not recognize me.

The sound of my MR2 again. I love that car so much...
