paleo for 9 weeks- discomfort in liver and right kidney area- Please hack

Can anyone help out? Several years ago, I chanced to look at my file after surgery and the doc had written that I may have fatty liver. Now, after paleo, I have discomfort in that area. Does anyone have suggestions? I know I can see the doc but where I live it is hard to get testing.

I will do this. Our docs in my area are not very thorough but I shall try. Thanks.

I have been busy with a building project but not heavy stuff. And I have not had issues with kidney stones, but it is sure worth checking out with the doc. Thanks

Now, that might be the issue. I will attend to hydration. Thanks.

Please go to the doctor. There's only so much that can be said/"diagnosed" online but without going and getting real tests done by a real doctor you are shortchanging yourself and possibly putting yourself at risk.

Not a medical expert, but from what I've learned in the past 6 mos, "fatty liver" is a condition that can be addressed through a fitness and nutrition approach, for instance CrossFit-style physical training and a Paleo-type diet. I don't know what would be causing your discomfort -- could be so many things. Have you done anything strenuous lately? Do you have a history of kidney stones?
