Factory farmed beef liver

Unfortunately, this is all I'm finding at the moment. It would seem that liver is an important part of a successful approach to Paleo.

My question, should I even bother with the grain fed liver? What kind of nutritional profile should I expect in comparison to grass-fed?

Thank you.

yes, bother with it. the liver detoxifies the animal, but it doesn't store toxins, that's sort of a myth. liver doesn't have much fat, so worrying about the fatty acid composition isn't really worth it. eat that liver!

In his talk at AHS 2012, Peter Ballerstedt argued that conventional beef is not significantly inferior to grass-fed beef with regards to omega-6's and effects on hormones. In short, if all you have access to is CAFO liver, eat it and don't sweat it too much.

I haven't seen any indication that grain-fed significantly less nutritious than grass-fed.

Liver is hardly essential to paleo as well.

I was thinking of posting the same question, so thanks for posting and thanks for the answers. I love tongue and heart, but wasn't sure about liver for this very reason.
