Chicken liver, beef liver, veal liver, doesn't matter. It gives me gas that can clear out a room. I'd love to eat liver because it's such an awesome source of everything ever, but I'd also like to be within 10 feet of other people afterwards. Doesn't happen with other organ meats (I eat kidney and heart with no problems).
If it matters, I usually sautee the liver in a little bit of butter, with black pepper and some onions (which I know give other people gas, but I eat onions all the time and don't get gas from them, so I'm assuming it's the liver). Sometimes I get fancy and add green peppers. I actually don't mind the taste, so I don't feel the need to hide it with a bunch of other stuff. Will it help to cook it in a different way? Or eat it with something else? Or is my body kind of getting used to it and if I eat it regularly the gas will disappear?

An odd first post ever for me to make, but yes, I have absolutely frightening gas the day after eating liver. I eat both beef and lamb liver, but it doesn't matter. Not to give TMI, but I "stifle" the gas the next day until I get someone deserted where I can let one rip :)
