Is this a sign of my Leptin being reset?

I decided today i was going to test my gluten sensitivity. So I ate some saltine crackers--now back in the day 1 cracker would lead to the WHOLE sleeve being eaten. Today I ate 3 crackers and stopped. Is this a sign that my Leptin levels are getting back to normal? Now if only I can stop the coconut binge--LOVE my coconut!!

I agree, and a few of those little tasting sessions can be a slippery slope back to eating them a sleeve at a time.

yeah almond butter addiction here too... I do this crazy thing where I melt a tbs of coconut butter, mix in a scoop of whey protein, 2 tbs of almond butter and some coconut milk, mix it up until it turns into a porridage and freeze it; eat later as a bar...good stuff but at one point I was eating two or three of these bars of day.

No it's not. Eating the whole package can happen whether you're leptin resistant or not. ???_???

You may have simply lost your taste for them. I had about four of those little mini pretzel squares a few weeks ago -- and damn if they didn't taste exactly like the wooden popsicle stick after the popsicle's gone.

Good luck with the coconut. For me, it's almond butter. ;)

Not entirely sure if you've reset your leptin or not. However, I seemed to reset mine with LC/paleo for a number of months.

However, we introduced gluten for a few weeks and I could feel things reversing pretty quickly!

I stopped being able to fall asleep at night (that was the big one for me!) and felt hungry an hour after eating.

So, yes, you may have reset your leptin, but, it's probably best to keep it that way rather than see how far you can go back in the other direction ime :-)
