Do red (coral) lentils contain lectins?

I mean, it is said that they do not need to be soaked, so is it safe to consume them?

Soaking beans (as done by most folks) is not for lectin reduction reasons. Lentils are said to have less lectin content than other beans, but yes, they have lectins.
