I am trying to determine which dark leafy greens have no goitrogens.
I took a list of dark leafy greens, and a list of goitrogenic foods, and cross compared the two lists. I found that Swiss Chard is a dark leafy green, and has no goitrogens, so Chard seems to be the first leafy green that answers my question. Am I doing this correctly? Or is there an official list?

all brassicas will have goitrogens. Kale, collard, arugula, broccoli, broccoli raab, gai-lan, tatsoi, pak-choi, cabbage, napa, mizuna, bekana, are all brassica. chard and beet (beet greens are very good) are beta. endive, radicchio, catalonia, are chicorium. the rest all belong to their own family, but typically no goitrogens (they may have oxalates, like sorrel, malabar spinach and amaranth).
