Leafy greens: lettuce vs spinach

Is there any advantage to eating lettuce if I eat plenty of dark leafy greens (spinach, kale, collards, mustard, etc)? I always hear that iceberg is nutritionally useless. NutritionData seems to indicate otherwise but it's nothing compared to the darker varieties. What do you all think?

Stick with the darker leafy greens and you will be fine.

I think of iceberg as crunchy water. A bit useless really but sometimes exactly what you need. Otherwise choose the darker kind. And get a variety. Dont eat just spinach cause Popeye said you should.

I think if you want lettuce, choose romaine over iceberg. Greener = more nutrients. And itworks great as a wrap or a "bun" for meaty contents.
