Do you use edible plates?

Soon I'm gonna have a room at the university again, and it got me thinking : I used to eat everything with my hands there, right out of the bag/pizza box. I might be healthier now, but I sure am as lazy as I used to be, so : does any of you eat out of edible plates? If so, what are they made of?

Edible plates do make it easier to eat with bare hands though. Especially because I eat 2 spoons of coconut oil at every meal : with an edible plate I could just put all the ingredients in it and shove it down my throat.

You don't need to see a connection, cuz there is none : I was just thinking about the way I used to eat with friends, and suddenly thought about edible plates.

So you are looking for recipes for easy-to-make, hand-held foods. I do not see the point of eating a plate that holds your food. Seems "not lazy" to make a plate and a meal and eat the whole thing.

the bag/pizza box thing was just to make clear I'm lazy. I just want ideas for edible plates, or paleo plates if you want.

I don't really understand your question. Are you asking what types of Paleo foods can be eaten right out of the bag/box/can (bags and pizza boxes are not edible they are disposable, no cleaning, drying, storing)? Seems any foods can be eaten over a paper plate or even a paper towel (also serves as a napkin) and then discarded with no fuss like the bag/pizza box.

Any kind of lettuce + deli meat + mustard. Perfect on the road meal in a pinch.

Cabbage leaves can be used to make anything into a taco.

Pigs ears would make good plates, but you'd need jaws of steel to enjoy them.

Does a steak count as a plate if your eating it by hand?

Produced by thermal compression moulding, it can hold water for up to 75 minutes and liquid oil for several hours. The starch mix consists of more than 90 per cent dry weight starch, plasticizers, emulsifier, calcium carbonate and agar. The process takes no more than 3 minutes at a temperature of 200-240?? Centigrade (??C) and the product is completely biodegradable.

...suspicious.

No, we do not use edible plates but we do eat many things in leafy wraps. We also make pizza with the crust being cauliflower, egg and sometimes cheese. We make coconut flour and egg bases for some things but not often. We do prepare and eat these things over plates that we wash or on rare occasion (paper plates) dispose of. Sometimes just over paper towels if we are really lazy.
