Hello,

Some background: there were a couple of days in a row where a bathroom was not readily avaiable and i had to hold going to the restroom.

Fastforward: this lead to severe constipation and laxitives on top of laxitives from doctors. Now it appears i cannot go to the bathroom unless I pump myself full of laxitives.

I just recently started taking a probiotic and trying to eat lean meats and fish, raw veggies ect.

Does anyone have any reccomendations for things i can do to help ween off the laxitives and or foods that are good to eat?

Sorry, i know this is a bit of a personal question as well- but i appreciate aby feedback..

Cheers!

It appears that no one wants to answer despite the various views, so I will add my input. Sounds like you may benefit from bowel training. Trying to get the urge is something that has to do with timing, digestion, posture (since tight hips can restrict the colon), and sometimes relaxation. The Mayo Clinic has a good bowel program.
