Protein and Muscle glycogen.

Since excess protein will turn into glucose, will part of that go towards restoring muscle glycogen?

I'm not 100% sure how this works, I'm coming from the perspective of a body builder. So any help/clarification is appreciated!

Thanks :)

Its a complicated procedure, first when the amino acid is broken down, it will replenish glucose in the brain before it replenishes any other muscle.
