I'm doing the bulletproof coffee diet with a bit of bacon(2strips sugar free) and macadamia nut(8to10) for dinner. When the strips get darkest is right after Ive eaten my fat. i dont eat any carbs or protein at all, except the super small amounts in the bacon or mac. nuts. Way less than 10 grams of carbs a day.
Are the sticks just measuring the fat I'm eating and burning right away or is it measuring stored fat being burned? I'm guessing the stick is probably not sophisticated enough to know the difference.
And/or can I get into ketosis (im measuring moderate on ketostix now) then just fast for a day or two eating nothing?
If I do that will my body stay in ketosis and burn fat without me eating anything or will it move me out of ketosis into starvation mode and just burn muscle tissue!
FYI I have been 100% Paleo/Primal for two months now feeling great, off of many meds, but the weight loss stopped after a week and a half. Started the bulletproof thing 4 days ago. Thanks
