Hey I know there have been a lot of posts about almonds wondering if they are a good snack/ how easy they are to binge on. I too face that problem of eating a lot of almonds as a post dinner snack. But as a person that is constantly drinking over a gallon of water a day and maintaining a ketogenic state, does anyone see almonds as a great source of needed electrolytes? I often see that while in ketosis it is important to get the 4-5g of sodium, 1g of potassium and 300mg of magnesium. Almonds are a great source for both magnesium and potassium and should they bee eaten daily while in ketosis to maintain proper electrolytic balances. I am wondering what the community thinks, is it binging or is it helpful? I might simply be trying to justify my snack food, but since I do not eat fruit potassium and magnesium are a bit harder to come by. Thanks for reading!
