I have been doing the keto diet for over a week now, and the low carb part has not been an issue.
However, i cannot keep the protein at a moderate level, I am way over my macros... But when i look up recipes or suggested foods, they all contain protein! it all adds up, or things like salmon and steak have such high protein already. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to keep the protein levels down?

Are you counting grams of meat as grams of protein? If so that's totally wrong as meat only contains 25%-33% protein (33% for chicken breast, 25% for beef).
You could always eat less, but as long as you're getting 3 palm sized pieces of meat per day, you should be fine, even when trying to go ketogenic.
