I've been keto for past two weeks. Been under 50 g carbs everyday and taking in a lot of healthy fats. I feel great and have no carb cravings. A lot of keto diets recommend refeed once a week. curious how many of you that are keto do that and does it knock you out and for how long? I'm fairly active but not nearly as much as the past few years when I was power lifting and doing bjj. these days I do a quick intense body weight work out every other day. Bike at least five miles a day commuting to work. Do a long bike ride or hike once a week. Haven't felt effected by lack of carbs in any of this but wondering if I should binge on some white rice or potatoes once

If you're not feeling it on your lifting (ie. not petering out/failing partway through), you don't need the carbs. Your current diet's providing all the glucose you need for your current demands. The carb re-feeds are really more necessary for the bodybuilder types that are doing heavy lifting almost every day. For lesser strength work, your body can replenish your muscle glycogen from protein in 24 hours or so. For endurance (like the bike riding/hiking) it's probably not using much glucose. A lot of people do unnecessary re-feeds for their purposes, or do re-feeds for other purposes unrelated to exercise.
