Hi I have some questions about kefir
I have made some and put it in a bowl for later. Is it safe to store it in the fridge? I have the gains covered in milk in a jar in the cupboard.
Isn't it expensive to always be buying milk to put on the kefir grains? I use half a carton with each batch, it's keeping pricy feeding this kefir.
If I only want a little kefir each week, say two batches, what can I do with my grains in the mean time? Just store them in a cupboard and add a small amount of milk to them each day - how long can I do this for?
