What do you think of this new phone app?

Is this new iPhone/android app a threat to our fine community? Will we start sending people to their phones when they ask if some random food is paleo? Will we start seeing people here argue about whether the app got it right? Is this app the missing link in how paleo peoples dialed in their nutrition?

Do you think this app is a good idea? Will you buy it for two bucks? Inquiring minds want to know.

@borofergie - That's such a silly answer that's just trying to instill fear in those new to Paleo...eating an apple seed will NOT HURT YOU...if the seed touches your skin though...you'll die a painful.. PAINFUL death and come back a SAD zombie...if you don't believe me Google it...SAD zombie...yah...type it in... *shifty eyed*

Once you understand what Paleo/Primal means, you don't need anyone to tell you what to eat, if a person doesn't completely grasp the concept, he/she shouldn't be following the lifestyle.

Actually is a little more scientific than that, Paleo/Primal, it's not about the way you define it. Nevertheless i don't think this app is useful at all

Dude the app got it wrong, apples aren't Paleo because you might accidently eat a seed and die of Omega 6 poisoning or something.

Then what? You find out Apples are Paleo and then eat 10 of them?

I saw mention of this on some blog -- I truly don't understand why anyone would need it. Figuring out if something is paleo or not is pretty straightforward, once you define "paleo" for yourself.

Seems like a way to rip off the newbies, $2!? Spending your money on a book would be a better investment.

This app is only the programmer's interpretation of what is or is not "Paleo." I would rather defer to the community and get several pieces of input when something falls into a grey area for me.
