Twelve hour fast

I accidentally came across this website looking for info on my 12 hour fast, and I'm interested in learning what it's about....my original question about 12 fast is, what can you drink during that time? What drinks does your body digest ie: coffee, wine, tea?

What kind of fast are you doing? IF? Religious? Some kind of cleanse? Is this going to be a regular thing? What is motivating the fast?

you may as well just drink water if you are only fasting for 12 hours....

if you do not eat a few hours before bed & then skip breakfast, you've done your 12 hours in a blink.
just have a glass or two of water in the morning if you feel the need.

To stay in a fasted state you can't consume calories. The drink would be water but black tea or coffee is ok too. Some people I know have said that some caffeine from tea helps them get through a fast. Do not drink alcohol because your body will metabolize the alcohol instead of fat. I recommend you intermittent fast for 16 to 18 to get the full effect. Once you can fast for 18 hours with ease, then you can try a full 24 hour fast.

any low calorie drink like tea and coffee, but i most recommend water... 12 hour fast is not a very long fast btw, try to go AT LEAST 16 hours
