Intermittent fasting

Because of school, I can only work out from about 6 to 7pm. What would be a good way get an IF (?? la leangains) schedule to fit this?

On workout days, eat a whack of protein and some carbs around 2-4pm, workout, then eat the rest of your food. Non workout days, eat most of your food at lunch and then eat a smaller dinner. Alternatively, fast all day and eat once after the workout if you can handle it.

Note that its not required to workout in a completely fasted state to take advantage of IF/Leangains, common misconception. (Although I do think there maybe metabolic advantages to doing so) The main points are to cycle nutrients, nutrient timing, and fast 16 / eat 8.

I actually workout at the same time you do and do the above schedule on week days and when a workout falls on a weekend, I workout at noon fasted.

You could go hardcore Warrior Diet style and just eat one huge meal after your workout.

I eat one meal per day normally. I prefer to exercise in a fasted state, so I usually do that first and eat when I get hungry--usually late morning. I'd say that most evenings I am "empty" enough to exercise, so you could try a nice morning meal with a light mid-day snack if one meal doesn't do it for you.
