I started to follow intermittent fasting to improve my hormone levels. I follow 16/8 method. Before that I had 6 meals per day, 200-250g of carbs per day. The worst I felt when I was on 100g of carbs and a lot of fat. If I went with carbs below 200g I felt horrible. My adrenals and thyroid are weak, this is why I am afraid to start keto diet but I started IF instead.
I don't want to lose kilograms. I am not sure how many carbs I should consume now on IF. If having 3 meals in 8 hours I am afraid taking 90g of carbs will worse blood glucose levels. If taking less I am afraid I will feel bad with so low carbs per day. Somebody mentioned that IF can actually worsen insulin resistance.
Based on that, how many carbs per day do you think I should consume for optimum health on 16/8 intermittent fasting?
