I am looking for some clarification regarding retaining water/ bloating/ and inflammation.
I have been living day to day with very noticeable bloating and inflammation and I am not sure what is causing it.
If I go for a run, I look swollen all over for days, if i lift weights i look bloated and retain water, if I eat fruit, I bloat and most noticeably any form of carb such as rice, sweet potato or starch i swell up.
My family has even noticed and mentioned it.
I workout with weights/lots of walking and intervals 5 days per week. and I eat a grain-free,dairy-free, Pescatarian diet, very similar to Carrie (mark's wife)
I am 28, on Bio-identical Estrogel,Progest, and Testost because I have no hormone production naturally due to a broken HPA Axis. I also take, High Potency EFA, Vit D & K2, Multi, Curcumin, and Adrenal Adaptogens...
I do not want to cause my body any more inflammation and I am trying to navigate what might be triggering this bloating/water retention?
Could someone tell me if it might have to do with my body's stress response to exercise and maybe if it is linked to my broken Hypothalmus/Pituitary...wondering if my body just receives all exercise and carbs as "stressors" ..is such a thing possible?
