Hello everyone!I've been suffering from electrolyte imbalance,malabsorption and really bad IBS recently with both and severe diarrhea and constipation.I've tried all kinds of fats and all of them give me frequent runs to the bathroom up to 20 times a day,when i start incoroprating some fiber,i become painfully constipated.Even water gives me stomach cramps.My body is constantly craving something easy to digest like simple sugars over meat and fat and i don't know why,usually its honey and bananas,maybe raw yoghurt.Please hack my issue,i would be way happy to get some good dietary advice.

Well the first priority is to sort your immediate symptoms and then you can address an underlying cause.
Stop eating fat. Start eating bland dry carby foods, preferably cooked in bone stock (I say this as a person who lost all their weight high-fat low carbing) I have IBS and my 'go to' foods are bananas and rice, I don't care if its paleo or not, it makes me feel better within hours if I get an attack. Your foods might be different, I think for Melissa from huntgatherlove mentioned canned pumpkin and bone stock.
Next is to get properly checked out. Check for gall-bladder, coeliac, crohn's. Get a colonoscopy. You need all of the information to get better quicker.
Start keeping a diary of the foods you eat and how you feel 30 mins, 1hr and 2hrs after eating them. And one really obvious, but easy to forget is to chew your food. Like overchew it. Really masticate the hell out of it. You'd be surprised the difference it makes.
Most of all keep your spirits up, I know how depressing it can be sometimes when you feel like you haven't been well in forever, I've been there. Best of luck!

I would recommend looking into the GAPS diet. Living off of simple bone broth with the fat skimmed off might be just the thing for gut healing for you. It sounds like your gut flora is really out of whack, and educating yourself about how to re-establish healthy gut flora would be a good priority.
