Asthma Attack at week two

I am a little worried because I woke up to an asthma attack which is not normal after two weeks paleo.

Breathing exercises controlled it and I took 1200mg Mg to try to prevent a longer problem but I am a little spooked since it has been a while since I have had an attack when not recovering from an infection.

I was a little concerned my Mg levels might have fallen but I got side effects with one does where before it has typically taken three.

Is some flaring like this normal?

My mother had nasty asthma for a few days at outset of paleo. Then it went away and all allergies almost gone now including asthma. So there was a big flare up at first, followed by being better than she has for years. I would not give up paleo just yet, but as always, make sure you are fully prepared with all your medications at hand. MY mother's early symptoms are one big reason why I was recently asking the question 'how to make the transition easier..'

Please see your allergist/doctor. Asthma can be very serious.

Actually it has been a pretty low stress period, this summer was stressful and this weekend was an anniversary of a loss but it was quite pleasant. I got some extra naps in..

Exercise-induced asthma (EIA) is a limited form of asthma in which exercise triggers coughing, wheezing, or shortness of breath. This condition generally occurs in children and young adults, most often during intense exercise in cold dry air. Symptoms are generally most intense about 10 minutes after exercising and then gradually resolve.

Are you stressing or sleeping poorly?

High stress leads to inflammation as surely as poor diet.
