When I used to eat sweet potatoes, they would make me bloat like a balloon. That's my experience, maybe it's yours as well. High starch and fiber can cause your gut to become distended and swell up somewhat.

I would take colostrum because of the amount of IgA, PrP's and other constituents that help heal the gut! The colostrum that has done research and has been written up in an editorial is Immune Tree.
No, probably because they are high-FODMAP (specifically fructans). A lot of people with IBS have fructose malabsorption, and onions are considered a major offender.
