On 17/10/12 I had a complete blood test that verified that my TSH was 48.00 and Free T4 was 0.48. A year later it was seen that they were the same values and also Anti-TPO was 309. So I started taking Levotiroxine to substitute the T4 hormone. In 2 months, on 18/12/13, TSH came down to 10.591, T4 was 1.00 and Anti-TPO was 318.0. I continue taking Levotiroxina and on 5/11/14, TSH came to 9.621, Free T4 was 0.86 and Anti-TPO 227.0. What can we say about these test results? Although it came down by almost a third, Anti-TPO remains high; will it normalize in time? In an attempt to aleviate the immune system, I eliminated from my diet meat, fish, eggs, dairy, gluten, alcohol, drugs, smoke etc.. but hoped for more acceptable results, I mean to say, more normal. Another thing is I take Coconut Oil as I believe it heals leaky gut and kills off candida bacteria overgrowth.
