Hungry After Weights

I'm in my 7th week of paleo and doing well. I've lost 10+ pounds, lost inches on my waist and gained some inches on my chest and biceps. I work a physical job (in a warehouse w/heavy lifting) and I find I am incredibly hungry the day after I do my weight training, Don't know if it makes a difference but I do my weights in the evening. I'm thinking about taking along even more protein-loaded snacks in my lunchbox.

Is this a normal craving for the day after a workout? Should I increase my protein intake the next day or is there a better alternative?

Thanks in advance.

I am not eating dog poop, even if it's paleo.

Lifting heavy things, makes your muscles burn all their stored glucose, this is what creates cravings. I would recommend drinking a Whey protein shake, within one hour after your workout and add Sweet potatoes to your diet

Dogs eat poop when their body needs nutrients. Don't be a dog. Get your nutrients.

I would recommend increasing your protein intake the day of and especially right after working out. Given you have a very physical job, you might need to just up your intake as a whole. Maybe shoot for closer to 1.5g per lb of bodyweight.
