Changes in appetite?

I start doing Paleo about a week and a half ago, and its great, I've already lost weight. I cut sugar and carbs out completely except green veggies and some fruit. I like that I'm less hungry, but I'm a bit worried because I'm REALLY not hungry. I've eat about 800 calories so far, its been 5+ hours since my last meal, but I don't want to eat. On average I eat around 1200 calories without any hunger. Is this normal? Is this okay? I'm in the obese range and my life is pretty sedentary so maybe I don't need a lot of calories?

Oh thank you for asking this - I am soooo glad to know I'm not the only one and I can't wait to see some of the answers. I try to track my foods on fitday, but everytime I fail to break 1,000 calories I get nervous, but I can't stand to eat another bite, I'm never hungry and I've been doing this as clean as possible for about 4 months. Even with Crossfit 3-4 times a week I'm not hungry.
