Shortly after going Primal (carbs under 50g, dairy, no nuts, eggs or seafood due to allergies) and I started having an ovarian cyst. I've had them before. Pain then it bursts and its messy for a few days.
I have had a cyst now for going on 6 weeks.
I'm on the pill but could get off it.
Other than the cyst and constant mild bleeding and moderate pain I feel great.
I don't have health insurance! So I am not sure what I can do other than to find someone to marry me so I can get on their insurance. I make too much money to qualify for govt services and I have too many preexisting conditions to get my own policy.
Any hormonal ideas?
Update: after tremendous pain I went to the ER. A regular and transvaginal ultrasound + bloodwork showed nothing wrong. Their best guess is endometriosis.

You can no longer be turned away from getting your own policy due to pre-existing conditions, they can charge you a lot, but you can't be denied.
My recommendation if you don't currently have insurance is get thee to Planned Parenthood stat! They can see you regardless of income or insurance and can get you an ultrasound to see what is happening. Occasionally cysts or adhesions can twist an ovary and threaten the blood supply to the ovary or cause internal bleeding. It this isn't following the usual pattern of bursting and resolving it should be looked at by a doctor ASAP.
In the meantime castor oil packs on the belly, and Epsom salt baths could help.

Estrogen dominance can cause ovarian cysts. Progesterone cream can help, but you want to read up on it so you know what you are doing!
