I like to do HIIT on my mountain bike as I find it's funner than any other form of HIIT exercise. I would like to know what are the symptoms of complete glycogen depletion and can it be potentially harmful to completely deplete your glycogen stores during every HIIT session? For the record I am fat adapted and get most of my glycogen restored through protein.
Also in a fat adapted person at what rate of intensity does the body start utilizing glycogen stores?
