Hack my body temperature and itchy legs?

For the past couple weeks, especially first thing in the morning, I feel like my house is 90 degrees. I've also been waking up in the middle of the night sweating, even though the fan is on and the heat is only set to 70 (I live in Virginia). My wife actually has the opposite complaint and feels its on the colder side. As I mentioned I am hottest in the morning and as I begin to move around and cook breakfast I begin to sweat and get this itchy tingling feeling all down my legs. It's the most excruciating itchiness I have ever encountered. Do you know what is causing these "hot" spells and the itchy/tingling in my legs?

PS....I have not changed anything in my diet. Virginias winter has been very strange this year...for instance, Saturday it was 60 degrees and sunny and yesterday it snowed 6 inches and is 30 degrees. Not sure if it's just a seasonal thing and/or my skin is really dry.

I eat dinner around 630 or 7 and then go to bed to bed a 930. I don't eat anything before bed.

Night sweats and excruciating itching definitely warrants a visit to the doctor and some blood tests.

What are you eating before bed? Night sweats can be related to low blood sugar at night. Maybe some protein or something before bed to keep things even during the night.

Could you be dehydrated?

Are you eating enough fat?
