Fluoride and heartburn

I'm 7 months pregnant (yes, the paleo fertility rumors are true) and have been successfully treating my pregnancy-induced heartburn with a very strict paleo diet and some other tools, like small meals, etc.

However, I've found that unfiltered tap water gives me instant heartburn.

I kind of suspect that it's the fluoride, but quick internet research only comes up with anti-fluoride quacks (not that to be anti-fluoride is to be a quack, just that only the quacks seem to talk about fluoride and heartburn on the internet). Have any of you experienced anything similar or know of any actual scientific research linking the two?

I'm not sure about anything- it could certainly be the chlorine. I'm shadow-boxing at everything because I'm so sick of being sick.

Are you sure it's not the chlorine? (Where I live, the tap levels are higher than the recommended amounts for swimming pools.) When you drink this tap water, are you letting it sit overnight
