Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia and Paleo?

Has anyone heard of Paleo alleviating the symptoms of IST? IST is a non-life threatening disease that randomly inflicts a sudden rapid heart rate, often severly limiting daily activities. The heart is healthy, just the message from this sinuses are out of whack. I'm asking this for a family member who is despairing such a diminished quality of life, and I can't find any data.

I know one person that had this alleviated by doing three things:

No caffeine, no sugar, switched from night shift to day shift.

Basically stopped stressing the hell out of her nervous system and got her circadian rhythm back on track. She did primal...but those are the three things she absolutely must do to continue to keep the symptoms of IST at bay.

To the person that answered saying that no caffeine, no sugar, switched from night shift to day shift alleviated the tachycardia, that only proves that the tachycardia was in fact appropriate. As a sufferer of IST myself, I am still investigating a way out of this terrible condition. I don't think a Paleo diet would be enough to eliminate IST, but would definitely be otherwise beneficial to the body.

Herbs like rhodiola and other adaptogens, will help at least a bit to rebalance the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems.
