So, obviously the post on whether or not to eat the potato skins thread inspired this... But what other fruits/veg have we been 'programmed' to eat, which aren't necessarily good for us/edible?
It got me thinking about things like tomatoes, peaches, apples, eggplants, cucumber... not so much for the wax coating, but b/c "mom said to b/c the tv said to" eat these foods. What others may be out there that really aren't beneficial... and why?
