a better phrasing to my earlier question

I believe this quote comes from Thomas Pynchon.

Anyway, that's what I was getting at with my earlier question on extreme/exacting diets and broader healthcare issues.

Are we asking the right questions about diet and health? Are there elephants in the room, while we ponder the health risks of an oatmeal cookie?

Well Tundra Mammoth and Mammut americanum are, not sure about elephants. Maybe paleo 2.0
