Paleo causing heartburn and headaches?

I have been strict Paleo (Whole 30 rules) and am finding in the end of week three I am getting headaches and having bad heartburn. I would have expected these symptoms in the beginning, during withdrawal, but not now... Any thoughts? I was not prone to heartburn or headaches before this.

Thanks!

What are you eating, and what were you eating before?

That is odd, I had severe heartburn until I started paleo. Whole30, so you aren't consuming alcohol? Where do you get your water from? What is your typical diet like? Any bananas or tomatoes by chance?

What are you eating? We need more info about your diet.

Culprits could be: too many/few carbs, too much protein, too many/improperly prepared nightshades, too many/improperly prepared alliums, too much fruit. The heartburn, I imagine, would not be a problem of macronutrients but rather of specific foods you are eating. Try eliminating certain ones and see how you feel.

I can't comment on the heartburn but headaches are often a symptom of dehydration. Try drinking a glass of water before bedtime.
