Clearing gut biodome

Whats the safest way to clear out and disrupt your guts biodome without using anti-biotics? Besides following an anti-candida or sibo protocal.

What's the reason for not overdoing it? Clearly too much of anything is never good, but any specific reasons why you think fermented foods should only be eaten in very small quantities?

I believe the word you are looking for is biome....and garlic ain't too shabby. 3 cloves of raw garlic a day is supposed to be pretty good at kickin' butt and takin' names.

If The Book Of Knowledge is correct, L. Reuteri releases an antibiotic agent, which appears to stop the bad guys while allowing the good guys to live. So, some supplementation with it may be helpful. Limiting FODMAPS, at least for a while, also may help. No sense in giving the bad guys extra food.

Probably fasting. Your gut flora and fauna likes to eat and will start to die out without anything in your GI tract.

On the other hand, if you do nothing to fix the underlying problem, the same beasties will just re-colonize once you've finished fasting...

Try using very little fermented foods on a daily basis. Like sauerkraut juice - one tablespoon per meal. Or pickles or even pickle juice. Don't overdo it though.
