I'm curious if anyone has seen improvement in fat absorption after their gut flora got better.

The reason I believe I have fat malabsorption is that no matter how much cheeze / coco oil I eat, I don't gain weight. Also I tried quitting starches (because of candida) and it made me very tired and I lost a lot of weight despite eating plenty of healthy foods and fats. I can't get any energy on fat alone. I tried a DIY fecal transplant the other day, in the form of an oral pill, and suddenly I was gaining weight and feeling energetic after eating cheeze and coco oil meals. Unfortunately my digestion slowly went back to normal in the weeks after that. My theory is that my gut is too much of a bad environment for the good flora to thrive in, because of the dysbiosis (and heavy metals?)
