Is it okay to cosume these green drinks every now and then? I know that paleo man did not consume these foods, but they are very nutritious, they have lots of minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and probiotics. To drink or not to drink?

The grass is not the grain. Not that I'm recommending it, but your answer is a non-sequitor.

Don't forget it's way over priced. A box of 10 frozen grass cubes is about $10 by me. No thanks! I can get over a pound of GF rib eye for that much.

Chicken and beef livers, hearts, gizzards and all that stuff don't taste like lawn trimmings.

Lol strangely enough, i have no problems with the taste. But i also eat other non palatable foods like chicken and beef livers, hearts, gizzards and all that stuff. I'm probably used to eating these sort of foods.

If I could give +2, I would. I agree 100%. Probably not gonna hurt anything but your self image.

My pleasure. If you like the taste, I say go for it, but honestly, I can't imagine they taste too pleasant.

Theoretically, they should not have any gluten (etc. proteins), but I remember reading that it's possible for contamination.

Drink them, don't drink them, I don't think you're really going to be any healthier for it. I personally would feel like a vegan hippy and be forced to move to southern California were I to consume those grass shakes.

For more nutrients and far less horrible taste, have some spinach. Or beet greens, or chard, or darn near any greens other than wheat grass.

If you want pro-biotics, kimchi and sauerkraut will do far better too.
