Has anyone tried the food at BeetnikFoods.com ? They ran a Paleo promotion on Living Social recently.

Egg white omlettes? I'm not sure the their low fat prepared foods have a place in a paleo diet. Example: 2 Egg White Omelettes 2 Veggie Egg White Omelettes

I got the paleo package. And it's not worth it. I thought it would give variety to what I allready cook at home. But they give you 2 bags of almonds and 2 bags of pistachios. Somthing I allready have on hand and can buy my self. You also get a bunch of bags of vegetable but you freeze them, and frozen vegetables are not that great. But that is exactly what they are plain frozen vegetables, no spices no sauce. They give you frozen strawberries and mangos. All somthing you've probably had alot of. And the meat, well the burgers are grass fed which are nice. The chicken is precook we and you boil it in the bag and it is dry and tasteless. There are little bags of shrimp which i dont know what do with, Maybe make a gumbo. And than there is tenderloin wrapped in bacon which is great as you can asume. But there is sugar in it, no paleo. So every thing but the tenderloin and shrimp are probly part of your daily diet.
