Southern California local food sources

Does anyone living in Southern California, or even better Orange County, know of any good local CSAs or sources of quality meat and produce? I visit the local farmers' markets but they never carry any animal products. The eatwild website has nothing for SoCal.

Thanks!

It is tough to get animal products in the area. You can get goat meat and milk here and there, and a bit of beef from the Santa Ynez valley, but the rest of it comes from farther north. The Co-opportunity in Santa Monica has very good quality produce, but only a few meat products like natural chicken. I am not sure where their chicken comes from. You can call. They have a great customer service dept. If you can get to the top markets, the selection is much better. The Santa Monica and Santa Barbara markets are good. You probably have one or two top markets in your area, too.
