Grass-fed meat, organic produce in Kona

I am looking for grass-fed meat, organic produce and unpasteurized dairy in the Kona area on the big island of Hawaii. I know about the farmers' markets. Wondered if anyone has any other suggestions.

Definitely grass fed--grass is plentiful, grain is not--but I don't know about grass finished. Don't they send them to the mainland for processing?

KTA markets carry grass-fed beef. Pretty cheap, too. Just check the meat section for cuts with the big "Grass-fed" sticker.

For raw dairy, you might try the local WAPF person: Lisa Romero (808) 985-9885, [email protected]

Isn't there like a million cows up by Waimea?
