What animals (besides humans) are starting to show gluten sensitivity?
Created June 08, 2012 at 1:25 PM
Here's the list so far in no particular order for animals with gluten sensitivity:
1) dogs
2) cats
3) horses! This surprised me partly as horses are herbivores but on the other hand modern gluten grains have far more gluten then ancient ones ...

Please feel free to add.
Thanks!

I'd love it if all cows started dying from consumption of grains...
Naw, they get slaughtered before starts to happen. But if cows weren't meeting an untimely demise to be processed into food, I bet they'd be dying from all the crap they're being fed. They're clearly sick from it, anyhow.
My snarky answer would be all of them, since they started eating gluten... but I see what you mean.
Also, I don't think being an herbivore means being able to process grains well. But I'm not an animal expert, so who knows.
"But I'm not an animal expert" Neither are most militant vegans. Doesn't stop them from having an opinion.
