I am seriously broke but have major health issues that need to be addressed. I've been recommended to start living paleo.  I want to see if I can get a rank order of what should you absolutely do from 1st all the way down.

I would first start by asking yourself why do you want to live a healthy lifestyle. You mentioned health issues, but why do you want to be healthy. Many times it's because they want to have a healthy lifestyle for their familes especially children. With this in mind, make sure to always remember the reason why you are making this change especially when the tempations kick in. Good luck on the journey and looking forward to updates.

Although that is a pretty BIG question, here's a little bit of advice that will hopefully be helpful. When starting a paleo diet, it's best to begin with the absolute basics rather than load up on too much info, then you can of course learn more about the plan as you move forward. First off, you may want to gradually go paleo instead of making the change instantly. So, consider cutting out 1 category of food that's 'not allowed' (wheat, sugar, or...) per week and figure out what new food works best for YOU by trying ALL the different foods you ARE allowed to eat. Also, since you mentioned budget being an issue, maybe for now finish off EVERYTHING that's left in your 'old' kitchen and be sure to eat EVERYTHING you buy for your 'new' kitchen ;) Good Luck! (I'd insert a few relevant links but since I'm new here, I guess I'm not permitted to yet?)

My goals from most important to least:

1. Get my pcos under control.

2.Keep my depression/anxiety under control.

3. Have more energy.

4. Sleep better.

5. Lose 30 pounds & tone my body.

I also want to ask about supplements. I've read a ton that says those are #1 to the whole thing because it feels any wholes you may have in your diet. So, should I start with that and then move to eating the food I have and replacing it with the "allowed" foods? Maybe start with the food at the regular grocery store and as I start to build that move into the organic/natural foods?
