i have been doing no grain diet for 1 1/2 years(GAPS) but when i started upping my protein and fat i started having gallbladder issues. no stones but i think possible inflammation from mold exposure and problem w/ oxalates in foods. glutathion helps my pain along w/ enzymes for fat/protein digestion. i have to eat fruit, beans, butternut, peas along with lots of other veggies to get full as i cant up fat/protein but so much. have candida so would like to try bees anticandia diet but dont think i can do that much fat. any ideas about how to tolerate more fat/protein?

Wow, what a mess. :) I can't tell you the outcome on this, but I just started a program with Standard Process (through my chiropractor). You fill out this really extensive form on digestive troubles, and they tell you what to take. I'm trying it. I've been on 2 days and have horrible stomach pain ... maybe that's a good sign? Lol. Anyway, it's customized, so I'm going to try the whole 60 days. I have lingering pain in my ileocecal valve that I can't shake.

tu - you must have missed the part when i said i take enzymes but i appreciate ur answering. i take enzyme that is for fat/protein digestion(lypo gold its called). that and artichoke extract have kept me from having severe pain and i can eat more fat and protein but still not enough to fill me up enough to cut out fruit and peas/beans.still have to be careful w/eggs too. maybe its because i have had such a huge appetitie ever since i was a child- maybe just high metabolism. but those foods are supposed to feed candida so i am trying to find way to leave out.

Take Ox Bile to help you digest fat and give your gallbladder a break.

Take enzymes to help digest protein (protease is one enzyme that does this). Most enzyme formulations contain a variety to break down different foods; read the label carefully to figure out which one you need.
