Is it bad to eat nothing but fried/sauteed foods?

Most of my cooking as of late has become "meat + butter + pan".

I eat plant matter also, but this is the only way I cook my food.

How bad is it to eat like this? What health implications are there?

No I eat some plant matter/starch. And I'm not sure what the bright-line is between frying and sauteeing but I do often get some black crap on the pan.

I eat some plant matter/starch as well, but the bulk of my calories probably comes from meats fried(sauteed?) in butter.

Is that literally your whole diet? There could be some nutritional deficiency issues if meat + butter is your entire diet. And are you sure you are frying? Sauteeing in butter is not frying. You will know if you are frying because you can't really fry things in butter without burning them, that's why the Indians invented ghee.

Either way, knowing Stephan Guyenet and Chris Masterjohn has convinced me to cook a little more gently. I deep fry very rarely and steam, boil, and gently saute most of the time. Frying damages nutrients and for me, it makes the food harder to digest. It's too bad, since I'm one of those freaks who thinks burned food is freaking delicious.

We shall see, Kasra. Are you pretty much eating only meat and butter?

Should be interesting. I don't think you're automatically doomed to an early grave. A bit of variety might not be a bad idea, though.
